Selex Ltd

Selection Experts’ Network SELEX Oy (Selex) specializes in personnel assessment. In addition, we assist customers in the recruitment of candidates who seek employment in safety-critical occupations/professions. We also help in the selection of students to safety-critical fields of study.

Negligence and incompetence cause incidents and serious accidents. Technology evolves and digitalization is increasingly important. Therefore, competence must always be maintained, and to achieve this, successful recruitment is important. Successful recruitment results in increased safety.

Safety-critical fields require the assessment of appropriate cognitive skills and personality traits. There are safety-critical occupations in aviation, as in various other industries (e.g., maritime, rail, military, crisis management, border guards, the chemical and oil refining industries, the energy industry, and healthcare).

Services

Selex utilizes modern technology and artificial intelligence to maximize efficiency and quality. For each assignment we evaluate the specific needs and requirements of the customer (task analysis), and we choose the most effective and reliable methods.

Selex has a large pool of computer-assisted aptitude and personality tests in a variety of languages, and we take different cultural backgrounds into consideration in our assessments. We provide two options for testing where (1) the testing is conducted under supervision, or (2) we provide the online testing. On request, we can assess teamwork skills and leadership potential. All methods used by Selex are scientifically researched and they comply with all international regulations.

Specifically, our pilot selection process and methods follow the European Union (EU) rules and regulations, which mandate:
